Dear Parents:

Today marked the last day of this year's Reading Challenge: "Read Across Time"! Thank you all for working with us and encourage your little one to read at home. Our Day Program kids had reached their goal and read a total of 2,862 books! Teachers prepared a show for them this afternoon, I'm sure you little one will give you more detail about it! Again, this is not the end, as we all know that reading, unlike oral communication, is something that takes years of practice to developed. Please keep up the good work at home and read with them daily!

I would also like to thank you all for your participation in our Parent-Teacher Conferences last week. I am sure you all had a pleasant conversation with your child's homeroom teacher. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitant to contact us anytime.

Below is the Day Program Principal's Note for April. You will find the Parent Tip regarding how to help to encourage your child to read at home fairly helpful!

Cordially,
Alvin C. Yen
